About Zach Potter

Zach Potter is a multi-instrumentalist, private instructor, and instrument repair technician based in Big Rapids, Michigan. 

As a bassist, he has been a member of the acclaimed jam band The Turnips since 2013 and has shared the stage with artists such as the award-winning Bluewater Kings Band, chart-topping country vocalist Matt Williams, drum virtuoso Scott Pellegrom, psychedelic rockers Flylite Gemini, and guitarist/singer-songwriter Elijah Russ. 

Beyond live performance, Potter has contributed as a session musician on projects including Austin Benzing’s debut album Steady Your Nerves and the folk group Cold Leather Seats, and as a producer/engineer on Overdrive Orchestra’s EP Heading East.
