Michael conceived Hand of Giants in Los Angeles after a battle with cancer as a means to raise support—and solace—through music. What started as a fundraiser became a full creative outlet. A Family! He writes and co-writes, arranges, and produces much of the band’s material, drawing from a classic-rock DNA (Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, Journey, Van Halen) filtered through a Midwestern resilience. He leads the band’s direction in studio and performance, maintaining the balance between technical polish and raw emotion.
He is the founder of Magic City Studios - Big Rapids, where he produces, mixes, and engineers for musicians and bands, podcasts, and cinematic projects. He has earned prestigious recognition over his 30+ year career, including 2 Golden Reel Awards. He has worked with the industries top talent in music and movies.
Michael climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in 2012, a milestone that speaks to endurance, vision, and grit. The Kilimanjaro climb shows how deeply he pursues challenges beyond the stage and console.
His “Ride or Die” and bandmate and trusted wife, Jacky, have made Big Rapids their home base—trading the fast track of L.A. for a quieter life anchored in community, nature, and collaboration.
